No matter your location, your area teens need a space of their own to hang out online. A space that is safe, monitored and has a few rules while maintaining a fun atmosphere. All My20 sites are for ages 13 to 18 only.
If you are seeking to set up a My20 satellite location for your local area, city or state please read on.
The My20 network provides local and regional safer websites for teens which link to other My20 sites. In contrast to other online teen venues, the moderation is real, the rules are enforced and local administrators assist. Additionally, we cooperate fully with local law enforcement to better keep our teens safe.
For the teens there are photo albums, forums, private messaging, blogging, gaming, videos, and much more with new features introduced regularly. Each feature can be enabled or disabled at will allowing you to customize the modules you offer to your visitors. Or you can simply roll out the features slowly.
You may visit My20.org to see an actual working site designed for the North Port Area teens, covering Sarasota and Charlotte counties in Florida. However, you are not permitted to lurk there or to register as it is a working teen website.
All My20 satellite sites receive their own individual .org domain unique to your area, training of administrative staff and site maintenance.
All that is required to request a satellite site is a background check of administrative volunteers, basic knowledge of html and local sponsor advertising to cover the costs of the site itself.
For further details please visit the HOSTING section of this site. This site is an actual working copy of the My20 format and you are encouraged to give it a go. I assure you, you will be amazed at the capabilities and so will your teens.
Please note: Until you register you are only getting to view some of the capabilities and features of this site. Once registered, new features are automatically displayed to you. This is done to protect the site.
You may contact Patricia Myers at 941 426 9141 or use our contact features here on the site.
Thank you!
